That is it locks up when the game tries to start after clicking on ready.  And one game it locked up after the game finished.

Summarized:

That's a bug in intels grafix drivers. There is a workaround that worked for all intel chips until now, so it may help you too: In the options of the intel display driver, go to the OpenGL-tab and switch a value from flip to blit. I'm sorry I don't know the name of the value but there is only one that has an option blit. Use that.

The only drawback is: blitting is generally slower than flipping. But since flipping doesn't work correctly on those chipsets, well. I contacted intel about that problem. They told me I'ld have to sign an NDA before I get any information about it. Attached was a one page description how I could do that, not that I intended to do it anyway. But additionally, the process seemed to be impossible to complete if you are outside the usa. Well ...

@awaw: Why didn't you translate it yourself? I know you can do it! Believe in your skills! Cheesy

Right click on desktop->properties
Settings-Tab
Advanced

From there on the dialog is driver dependent. Because I don't have such a Intel gfxcard available atm I can't exactly tell you what buttons are there and which exactly you have to click.

There has to be some Options for OpenGL. E.g in a tab or combobox or something.
Google showed me this page http://www.neowin.net/forum/lofiversion/in...hp/t250385.html. That guy writes down the options he has in his display properties. Look for a part of that dialog that has options like that.

Then change "Flipping Policy" from Flip to Blit. Click Ok a few times until every dialog is closed. That should do it. Smiley

Btw. it's not only Walkover that has problems with these Intel chips. Here http://ryzom.com/forum/printthread.php?t=6235&pp=50 a few guys complain about problem in Ryzom and KOTOR. Someone notes that he fixed the problems he had when switching from Flipping to Bliting. The last poor soul on that thread figured out that his problems were solved when he played in window mode instead of fullscreen. Guess what? Flipping only works in fullscreen mode, so basically he forced his gfxcard to use blitting by running the games in window mode. Wink

And, note that my complaining about those intel drivers is already 6 months ago. Maybe there are new drivers out now that correct the problem and flipping works ok. I don't know, but you might want to give it a try and download the newest drivers from intel.

Oh no, you have this problem as well now? Hmm. I remember I tried it on some Toshiba laptop with intel graphics. I saw this as well: The units aren't rendered. But the scaling was correct as far as I remember. Maybe another new intel related issue. Hmm...

I think i have one pc here that has some intel onboard graphics card. I'll check when I have time. Maybe it's not hardware card related but driver related and all intel graphics with new drivers have this issue now.
